Flowta Sites is about learning and teaching. We are focussed for now on accessing the web. We want to help those who are new to browsing and using the web to get started, and get comfortable exploring what the web has to offer. We need also to have those who can help in this work by teaching, answering, explaining and demonstrating what they know of the web. You dont need to be an expert to help.

Our first priority tasks are to:
  • compile a range of articles and videos on web basics.  What is em

ail, why is it useful, how do I start etc.  Same for browsing, for using forums, for buying, remaining secure, downloading, music, videos, blogging, searching, translating, diaries, web sites, you get the picture :)
  • compile a short number of simple videos that will demonstrate to those wanting to teach these basics (and perhaps learn something as well) covering making a screen based demonstration video, scripting, where these can be hosted, editing, what software is available (especially free software), and
  • attracting both learners and teachers to this site to get enough momentum going to form a community and make it work.

We want you to join. We hope you will learn something. We know you can contribute. We operate on the C4 principal,  Communicate - Coach - Collaborate - Create. Flowta sites aims to provide the facilities and tools to allow this to happen. On the site you can ask and answer questions, help others, form groups and project teams, author/edit/publish, help plan the sites future, create subject areas and develop/publish courses.

So please register and join our community.
